Hagi is a little beach town surrounded by sleepy countryside. It’s sleepy nature seems to extend to the local trains on which no-one seems to be able to prop their eyes open. When I took this shot I was the only sole left awake, an easy candid photo capturing rural Japan fly past the window.

Everywhere recently there have been bright orange fruits on the trees. Striking against bare autumn branches, I thought they would make a good muse. To give the shot something extra I chose a rainy day, narrow depth of field and added a texture in photoshop.

For Halloween, I went to an Irish bar for a band and a Guinness. This is my favourite shot of the evening, the keyboardist / bassist showing off his bunny ears.
