Day 61- A Sleeper Train

Hagi is a little beach town surrounded by sleepy countryside. It’s sleepy nature seems to extend to the local trains on which no-one seems to be able to prop their eyes open. When I took this shot I was the only sole left awake, an easy candid photo capturing rural Japan fly past the window.

        No, “Old Faithful” still gets a couple of trips a year holding passport, wallet, cigars, lighter, loose change, pieces of string and implements for geting stones out of horses’ hooves. Like dogs, it has come to mirror its owner – knackered, and leathery. I’ll let you now when I turn black….
