This is the view from my local beach, islands sweeping the horizon at sunset. I used a longer exposure to try and give the water that silky look.
Japanese ‘zen‘ gardens are made of gravel, precisely raked into ripples and waves- reminiscent of a peaceful pond. The sweeping symmetry and leading lines make them the perfect muse for some abstract black and white photos.
