In Japan, scaffolding and building work comes with cute animals attached. Big eyed bunnies warn you to watch out for maintenance and winking frogs for Mc Donald’s cups (apparently its not good for our health).
Day 236- the Zoo (part 9)
From lion cubs to elephants. Just another (and the last) day at the zoo.

Day 235- the Zoo (part 8)
The last (and perhaps) cutest picture of the lion cubs, and a small anecdote-
Leaning over the cubs enclosure to get a good photo I threw away (dropped) my lens cap. Fumbled into the lions den. I contemplated reaching over to get it, but was worried their cute, mesmeric, eyes might betray sharp, inquisitive, teeth. I wasn’t keen on loosing a finger so I asked zoo keeper, in the best Japanese I could muster (gestures). She retrieved it for me, welcomed by excited cuddles and playful swipes rather than a vicious mauling. A lack of curiosity spoilt my chance to stoke a cat.
