Japanese ‘zen‘ gardens are made of gravel, precisely raked into ripples and waves- reminiscent of a peaceful pond. The sweeping symmetry and leading lines make them the perfect muse for some abstract black and white photos.

Day 172- Leaves and Temples
I took this at my local Shinto temple; red leaves and a sweeping tori gate conjuring something essentially Japanese.
Day 168- Buddhas’- Take 4
It feels as though Hagi (my hometown) has an indefinite number of temples- sandwiched between houses, behind gates and hidden round corners.
