A little while back I posted some pictures from Miyajima– a holy island boasting temples, shrines and a flock of friendly deer. These are a few more shots of it’s crowning jewel- a floating Tori gate, gleaming red in the sun.

Day 77- Bambi’s
After my last post of a deer in Miyajima, I noticed there were a couple of other good ones hiding amongst the hundred or so I snapped. I liked this candid shot- the deer trying its best to avoid the over-zealous attention of some excitable Japanese children.
