Day 354 – dive bomb

Day 174 on this blog featured a lake local to where I live in Japan, famous as the home to hundreds of Hawks. They spend their days swooping in and about, keeping an eagle eye out for any visitors with a bag full of tasty bread.

The following couple of photographs are a from the same lake, the Hawks skimming the water as the swoop on and down.

We have been staying on the coast of Ecuador for the last 3 months. They have a similar situation with the Frigits here. Anytime their are fish nearby you will see them buzzing the headed of the fishermen. Nice photos. Look forward to following your blog
