I stumbled across these two cats basking in the late evening sun and liked their pose- back to back, tail to tail. I couldn’t decide between black & white or colour and so I have posted both. Which do you you prefer?
Colour for me. Interesting – you imagine cats in Japan would display different racial characteristics to domestic moggies in most other countries – but, of course, they look just the same. Not dissimilar climate, I guess, so no reason to expect them to evolve so very differently in Japan.

Personally I like the colour one best as the ginger of the cat really jumps out at you. Though I’m ginger myself so I’m biased!

Cats generally seem to look the same everywhere you go. I suppose in hot countries they seem to be skinnier.

The black and white cat’s mouth kinda blends in to the door paneling. At least it’s not so bad for the color version. So, I voted for color.
