A nearby pond is the home to a community of hawks. They have learnt that the russel of a bread bag means an easy lunch. After throwing a few crumbs I was mobbed- birds cascading above me, casting an eerie silhouette.
I couldn’t decide between colour or black and white; so much so, I decided to create some pop art as well.

Looks like an ad for a photoshop filter 🙂

haha, it does! I just used the spilt toning in lightroom and then laid them out in photoshop. By the way I just had a look at your recent HDR’s and they are perfectly done. They are what HDR should be, not overdone and cartoony.

Thanks 🙂 I think I have decided on the collage but the black and white is a close second. Liked your recent through the window shots. I am going to try and look out for some. I love the reflections you get.

Thanks winegums! I am in a colour state of mind after the Cali trip. I am in serious need of some pops of Bougainvillea and hibiscus in New York 🙂

The birds make the perfect subject for the way you have presented them!
winegums April 2, 2012
Thanks! I thought a silouhette would give it an eerie edge.

I love the collage! Have you ever tried to shoot with the Cokin Graduated and ND filters? I have some on order and am practically giggling like a school girl waiting for them to come in 😀
