Day 119- Hiroshima Prison

Shutter Speed: 1/20 second, Aperture: F/20, ISO: 100

Hiroshima prison is an unlikely tourist attraction. A mural covers the perimeter wall, the colours brightening the drab grey, bars and barbed wire. It’s a bit boring on its own but I thought it would make an interesting backdrop. I waited for some cyclists to meander by, slowing my shutter speed to blur their movement through the shot- people on their everyday errands, splashed against a mural of a giant fish.

Thanks!!! I was thinking about black and white for all of them but I decided the bright colours added something. Thought I should include a token one at the end. Thank you so much for checking out my blog. I appreciate it lots!

I love the colors in the mural. And I think your most surreal pic is the black and white – it become hard to sort out how the people are related to to the fish, are they all in one plane? Is it photo shopped? Are the fuzzy people not real and the crisp fish is? Plays tricks with my brain. I like it!
