This is my second photo from Gion. Wandering around, this pagoda gracefully fills the skyline- an elaborate marker ensuring you never feel too lost amongst the hazy maze of streets. I decided to place it in silhouette, bold against a beautiful sunset of red and orange.

I took these pictures whilst wandering through a bamboo grove in Kyoto. It seemed a romantic setting- the wind fluttering through the trees, towering overhead in a beautiful green canopy.
