There is certain sadness in this photo, in the way the tiger walks, locked in a zoo…. I think the black/white photo brings out the mood of the photo much better than the color photo. The color photo is great, but somehow ordinary.

I agree with the sadness. I always get that in Zoo’s. I do like seeing the animals but there is a slight sad, macabre edge to everything. Sometimes I feel like I am against them but then people remind me that, without them, some animals may become completely extinct and I suppose one tiger in a Zoo is better than none at all.
