Near to where I live there is a grove of Camellia trees. They bloom in February, showering the forest floor with a carpet of striking red flowers. The sun was filtered dreamily through the trees- cast in beams across the ground, causing flowers to gleam luminously here and there. I tried a close up, scrambling around trying to find the best angle to cast the sun in a dramatic backlight.
