I previously featured a beautiful Buddhist temple near my hometown, lit up for the festival of obon with a twinkling canvas of stone lanterns Day 14- Welcoming the Dead.
I thought it would be good to go back in the day time and photograph it in a new light. The sweeping angles and patterns, all combined with close-up textural detail, make the temple a great subject. These are a few of my favourites:
