The entryways to temples are often grand and graceful structures; the climax to wide sweeping walkways which are adorned either side with beautiful Japanese gardens. On a stroll to my local temple I wandered into this picture. I like the lone character, dwarfed in the doorway, on their way to pray or maybe just on an evening walk. I thought a sepia tone would add something to the photo, a little bit of mystery and intrigue.

Thanks! The sepia really made the picture. It gave it a good atmosphere! Temples should always be in black and white 🙂 Thanks again for checking out my blog!
