In Autumn, maple trees everywhere put on a vibrant display of reds and oranges. People in Japan get quite misty eyed and excited about this and so I thought I should find a photo. I tried to make the shot as engaging as possible- using a solitary leaf, a narrow depth of field and a scenic background. But really, it is just a pretty picture.

Nice! Actually the background is not too shabby, either. One shot with the background in focus, and another out of focus, would have made a priceless contrasting pair.
