Day 68- Museum

Shutter Speed: 8 seconds, Aperture: F/8.0, ISO: 100

I took these photo’s on a visit to Hagi’s art museum. Photographing the exhibits themselves seemed a bit sterile and boring so I decided to make the visitors the subject. Propping my camera wherever I could find, I slowed the shutter speed- catching people stopping to ponder whilst others pass with just a glance, a blur as they meander through the shot.

…Winegums! I love these pics! it’s so charming the contrast (not only visual, but also conceptual!) between two elements: the stillness of works of art in a museum and the fleetingness of visitors. Great idea! I’ll try to do the same! cheers!

Taking photos in musuems reminds me of all those ridiculus occasions in South America, where we saw cool stuff to photo, but werent allowed to. So we did our sneak/distraction routine, or do sly snaps whilst pretending to ajust the settings or whatever lol!

Absolutely love these photos, black and white are my favourite photos so these are just gorgeous! Definitely something I want to try. Pinned the first one to my inspiration board on Pinterest. Lovely.
