A couple of days ago I posted some photos of a couple ambling through a bamboo grove in Kyoto. On a return trip, I decided to photograph the bamboo itself. My favourite shot from the day was this close up- showing off the vibrant greens and repeating patterns that make a bamboo forest so beautiful.

I think this photo might actually be influenced by the one on your blog! I remembered seeing it whilst at the bamboo grove and thought I should give it a go myself 🙂
