Just a short cycle from Hagi, along a scenic coastal path, there is a beautiful buddisht temple. It overlooks a peaceful lake- filled with pretty carp and inquisitive river turtles that swim towards you hoping for scraps. Families of cats have made it there home-; spending their days sleeping amongst the shrines or chasing frogs from the pond. This one posed for me just long enough for a portrait.
