There are a few islands off the coast of Hagi, sleepy ones with a handful of people on. One rainy day, I cycled past the beach and noticed them looking quite eerie, all shrouded in mist. I thought it might make a good picture.

The first journey out there was pretty rough! Bouncing up and down big style. Remember the boat to omotepe and that person having a dreaded mare at the back of the boat. That would have been you on this one! I only actually go out there twice in sep and twice in oct and then not till march- apparently the sea is way to rough! Then my predecessor said he got stranded there for three days when he had to go in march, apparently the boat doesn’t go if the waves are over three metres! Thoughts?
