Riding about town on my bike I decided that I would go for a little explore. Just as I was about to set off it started to pour with rain- the good kind, the tropical kind that gives a little bit of a relief to the humidity rather than the constant miserable drizzle of England. I took shelter and waited for it to ease, watching an old lady peddle her way through the downpour. Unfortunately for her, the light was perfect for a photo and she has cycled, miserable and damp, into my blog.
I entered this photo into a travel photo competition in TNT magazine and was very pleased to receive a runners up position!
